NGC 4395

Show astrometry data

NGC 4395 is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici. This galaxy was a real challenge, as the surface brightness is very low and we have to pick it out from the light polluted skies an hour outside Bangkok, Thailand. This galaxy also has an unusually large dust halo around it (8' diameter), and a very small black hole at its center.
